Outreach Program at Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas

The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) Manila Chapter Officers in cooperation with the Manila Student Chapter (MSC) officers, and Association of Electronics Engineering Students (AEcES) of PUP-Taguig and Adamson University Electronics Engineering Students Society (AUECESS) have once again touched the hearts of the community during the Outreach Program held at Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas, March 9.
Under the i-Care program of the i-Core Framework, fifty (50) children benefited the said event as they have been entertained with games and activities prepared by the MSC Officers.
An opening number presented by Damas Kids, to the tune of “Welcome to the Family” and a poetry in English and Filipino version welcome the group. Also, some of the MSC Officers have conducted fun-filled learning activities such as how to wash the hands and brush the teeth correctly.
Weeks before the actual day of the Outreach, the Manila Chapter Officers and the Manila Student Chapter have solicited for the goods that will be used for the Outreach. The officers packed hygienic products and snacks to be given during the program. Ms. Analyn Carandang donated thirteen (13) toys for the prizes of our games; Engr. Evelyn Raguindin donated hygiene materials in form of soaps, tissues, alcohol, and cotton. Engr. Alejandro Ballado, Jr. together with the IECEP Manila Chapter donated food and helped organized the event.
After the fun-filled activities, the organizers also provided the kids with snacks and refreshments. (AAP)
