In celebration of Fire Prevention Month, IECEP Manila partnered with Honeywell and Yekyue for a Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS) Technical Seminar held last March 26, 2025 at the Honeywell Headquarters.![]()

With the participation of our dedicated officers from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the seminar focused on the vital role of FDAS in ensuring early detection, effective alarm, and timely evacuation during fire emergenciesโan essential part of Building Safety.![]()

Technical experts from Honeywell walked us through the components and types of FDAS, from smoke and heat detectors to alarm panels and annunciators, with actual equipment demonstrations and hands-on guidance to deepen the understanding of these life-saving systems.![]()
